Angels and Demons Perspectives of a Violent Afterlife eBook Rex Jameson

This novella left me feeling as if I was missing chunks of the story -- I suspect all the author's books are set in the same world and that having read the other books helps make sense of this one. While the overall concept is good (battle between God and Satan carried out on Earth), the rushed feel was a real turnoff.

Whole chunks of exposition are just spewed out and major parts of the plot take place outside of the story and are recapped for us. The whole thing has a hyper unrealistic feel (I'm guessing it is pretty hard to actually storm the room where the Nobel Peace Prize is being awarded).

I felt as if I was reading the work of a adolescent author. Perhaps a promising one, but adolescent nonetheless. When I got this, it was free and I'd say it is worth checking out on that basis for people who are intrigued by the plot. However, the current price ($1.99) is over-priced just for length alone.

Angels and Demons Perspectives of a Violent Afterlife eBook Rex Jameson Reviews

It's a great storyline, but all of the profanity destroys the whole book. I could only read maybe 10 pages and just had to delete it from my . Without all of the cuss words it would be a great read indeed.
A story about the struggle between the forces of good and evil, it depicts the conflict as an actual battle between Angels and Demons, with swords of all things.
Although decently written, the concept is juvenile, at best, and should only appeal to someone seeking an escapist story, with no redeeming factors.
Reading this book is very much like eating a snack that you know is bad for you, it's great, until you finish and then you're ashamed you actually ate it.
This is a very interesting book for anyone who is interested in Angelology! All I can say is sequel, sequel, sequel!
This story provides a new twist on the whole concept of heaven and hell. There's some pretty graphic violence but it's expected when dealing with the devil. I liked the whole concept of traveling through the tunnel to earth. Very creative indeed. The story was also well-written and engaging.
Great story, but very short. Would like to read more stories with the battles between angels and Demons. Would recommend to friends and family members who have similar taste.
God had so much faith in humanity that he bet our souls on it. Those whose deaths are caused by other humans are sent to Lucifer. God gets the rest. Sucker! Lucifer comes to Earth to stir up trouble in order to collect more souls for a project he has in the making. Even he has to admit its just too easy to pit man against man.

"It was supposed to be about how we, as human beings, are ultra-violent and how we may be focusing on the wrong parts of religious texts and making things much worse (from an afterlife perspective, in this one)."--Rex Jameson

I thought this story was fascinating. The main idea is that any death caused by man works against God. It's kind of common sense in a big idea kind of way. As a story, it flows quickly and easily, and will grip you. It's short, but very rich.
what a great imagination to being the angels, I felt like I was part of the story, looking forward to reading the next
